Cryo therapy
Cryotherapy, also called cryoablation or targeted cryoablation, is a procedure in which extreme cold freezes and destroys the diseased tissue, including cancer cells.
It is liquid nitrogen or argon that is used to freeze the cells with, whether it be in the body or on the body.Before the insertion of needles, the doctors use either ultrasound, CT or MRI scanning in order to frame exactly the place to be treated.
The following types of cancer can be treated with cryotherapy.
Skin cancer

The treatment is performed under local anesthetic.
