16. floor - VIP department  This floor is dedicated to foreign patients.
Throughout the 16th floor there is calm and warm environment and you do not feel that you are at hospital at all. Everything is quiet and calm as there can be a maximum of 9 patients at a time in their own private luxury suites. The staffs are very sweet and friendly, they will do everything they can to make your stay as good as possible. On the 16th floor there is a medical administrator, one doctor, one head nurse, seven nurses and a trainee employee. In addition, there is a member of staff who helps patients to go to and from the treatments and three cleaning ladies. On a day shift there are usually three nurses at work and two at night. Not all the nurses speak English, but they do what they can and they always do their job with a smile. The 9 suites are divided into two prices, depending on the size of the suite.  There are 6 suites for the price of 1200
RMB a day and 3 suites for the price of
1600 RMB a day.
The 1200 RMB apartment consists of one
large bedroom where there is an elevation
bed, a desk, a bookcase, 2 armchairs and a
table as well as a turn-out bed.
There is also a flat TV on wheels in the room.
 In the bedroom you have access to a bathroom with a large bath, a toilet seat
and a washbasin.
Between the bedroom and the living room there are glass doors.
In the living room there is a sofa set and a flat TV and there are only Chinese TV
channels.
From the living room there is access to a guest toilet and a kitchen.
 The kitchen is equipped with a microwave
oven, a fridge, a freezer and a hotplate.
In the living room there is a telephone and the Internet access.
The 1600 RMB apartment includes an extra room with a bed, a desk and a computer
with the Internet connection.
Moreover, there is an additional bathroom with a shower and a washing machine.
 As something new on the 16th floor, a gym has been opened, which will be expanded
continuously and different types of
equipment have been fitted according to
the patients’ needs.
The gym is free of charge at all times of the day.
Then there is a possibility of getting a comfortable massages on a massage chair
and an opportunity for a walk or run on a
treadmill.
Every day all patients receive an English version of a daily edition of The China Post newspaper. |
