Stay in Tianjin
When the treatment has started, the physicians assess the patient’s condition and decide whether he/she has to stay in hospital or whether he/she can stay at a hotel or in an apartment.
In most cases you can live in apartment or hotel depending on your general condition, but we must expect a few nights in hospital.
Hotels
There are many hotels in Tianjin, in many different price ranges.
There are two international hotels located near the hospital.
King Hall Hotel is a 3-star hotel that was opened in September 2007. The price for a double room is 480 RMB each, incl. breakfast.
The hotel has a restaurant with an international breakfast and traditional Chinese food for lunch and dinner. All rooms have international TV channels and the Internet access.
Century Hotel is a 4-star hotel. The price for a double room is 560 RMB per night incl. breakfast. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel, where both traditional Chinese and western food is served.
In all rooms there are international TV channels and the Internet access.
Apartment
We also have 2 apartments, located approx. 2.5 km from the hospital, one on the ground floor of 160 m2 and a penthouse apartment on 11th floor of 120 m2. See pictures attached. Besides them there is a possibility to rent more.
The apartments are furnished when we let them. We ensure that there are all the everyday things that are necessary, such as duvets, linens, towels, kitchenware and more.
There is also one room with the Internet access in the apartment.
An apartment costs approx. 10,000 RMB per month incl. heat, gas, water & electricity.
The Internet connection is not included in the price. It costs 300 RMB for a 2 GB connection in the creation and consumption of 200 RMB per month.
Not all the apartments have international TV channels, but it is possible to order them.
If you have any special wishes regarding your stay in the apartment, we will do everything to fulfill them.
TV channels
In China there are national TV channels CCTV 1 – 12, all of which are in Chinese, except CCTV9 which is a news channel in English.
Here, in addition, there is a number of local TV channels, all in Chinese.
Internet
China has a good internet connection and there is a good connection with the Danish sites.
It must be said, though, that in the evening hours, it may take somewhat longer time to load pages due to a very large loadof the network.
Phone
In China it is possible to use foreign mobile phones, they have fine coverage of both conversation and message service, but it is expensive to make and receive calls from outside.
On your arrival in Tianjin, we will supply you with a mobile phone so we can always get in touch with each other at any time of the day. This phone can only be used for calls in Tianjin, and not for calls outside China, but you can receive calls from Denmark.
Mail & Parcels
If you wish to send letters or parcels home to Denmark, we will help you with this. There are several ways to send mail/parcels from China.
If your family or friends want to send letters or parcels to China, it has to be sent to the following address, so we can deliver it directly to the addressee.
